How we verify installers

Every shop listed was confirmed by a person before it went live. The method and the date are printed on its listing, so you never have to take our word for it.

Verified by a person

A shop is listed only after one of us confirms three things: it exists at the address, it installs the service it is listed for, and it answers the number shown. We do it one of these ways, and the stamp on the listing says which:

Verified by phone
We called the listed number and spoke to the shop about the services it installs.
Verified via a brand program
The shop appears in a film or coating manufacturer's own installer locator. Certifications on a listing are confirmed the same way, never on the shop's say-so; anything we could not confirm is marked owner-stated.
Verified via website
The shop's own website lists the address, the phone number and the service.
Verified by the owner
The owner claimed the listing with a one-time code sent to the listed phone or to an address at the shop's own domain. Owner-managed listings carry a second chip.

We never list a business from scraped maps data, review sites or copied directories, and we do not publish reviews or ratings of any kind. Run a shop we have not found yet? Request a listing and a person will verify it the same way.

Owner-managed

When an owner claims a listing, they can add photos, hours, brands, a description and starting prices. That content is theirs: we label it as entered by the owner and do not review it for accuracy. Claiming does not move a shop up the list.

Your details

A quote request goes only to the shops you named before sending, up to three, and to nobody else. We keep a copy for 90 days so you can report a shop that did not respond or misused your details, then delete it. We never sell or share leads.

Something wrong on a listing? Email [email protected] and a person will check it.
